The Los Angeles Lakers have announced that the arthroscopic surgery which was performed on the right knee of Kobe Bryant was a success and he is expected to fully recover before training begins on September 25th.
It can be remembered that fluid was already drained off Bryant’s knee during the playoffs, and despite several other injuries, he was still able to lead his team to their second straight title at the NBA.
However, there is still no news whether Bryant is also scheduled for a surgery on his index finger which got broken late last year.
In related news, the Lakers have signed Theo Ratliff and Matt Barnes on Thursday, further strengthening their roster.
