Bellator Fighting Championships featherweight champion Joe Soto has been confirmed to face season-two tournament winner Joe Warren for Bellator 27 happening on September 2.
The will happen at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas.
Soto took the Bellator featherweight title after winning against Yahir Reyes, Wilson Reis and Ben Greer. The 23-year-old has since won under the Tachi Palace Fights banner but returned to Bellator for a non-title TKO win over UFC veteran Diego Saraiva.
Meanwhile, Warren is coming to this fight after three-straight decision wins over Patricio Freire, Georgi Karakhanyan and Eric Marriott.
He is a former world-champion Greco-Roman wrestler, with mixed martial arts origins from the Japanese-based DREAM organization where he garnered a 2-1 record within just 7 months.
